Shonen Jump Cover Contest

I drew this as an entry to a Shonen Jump contest asking readers to design their own cover for the magazine. I drew Kurama and Hikaru, because I really wish they'd release more chapters of those two comics in each issue. Also, I made a little advertisement for Bleach as a new serialized manga. Strangely enough, they announced that they were adding Bleach to their monthly lineup just a few weeks after I finished this picture. I guess they liked my idea ^_^

[2017 Note]: Funny enough, Shonen Jump actually featured this drawing in one of the fan art sections of their monthly magazine back in 2008 or 2009. Kinda embarrassing to think that so many people saw my awful old artwork, but it's still pretty neat that it got put in the magazine.
